Strawberry disease
ALSO KNOWN AS: Red Mark Syndrome (RMS)
Strawberry disease is characterized by red, inflamed lesions on the skin of affected fish, resembling the surface of a strawberry. The exact causative agent is not well-defined but is associated with bacterial infections. The condition is primarily observed in farmed rainbow trout.
