Aeromonas hydrophila
Also known as: Motile aeromonas septicemia
An opportunistic pathogen: healthy individuals rarely become diseased, but stress and poor water quality may result in disease. External signs of disease are typical of a septicemia and include hemorrhaging of the gills and vent, ulcers in the muscle, and tail and fin rot. Internal organs may become hemorrhaged.
