Camallanus
ALSO KNOWN AS: Bass Nematode
A round worm typically found in crappie in Oregon. Under the microscope, the worms have distinct chitinous head and mouthparts. The worms bear live young, which directly infect the next fish host. Camallanus are not transmissable to humans or other mammals.
Distribution: North America, particularly Oregon
